Troop 399 Committee Meeting Minutes
May 3, 2011
- 9/11 Memorial Cleanup 8 Scouts and 4 Adults helped to clean up the Memorial. It was a huge success. Anyone that has worked over 20 hours at the Memorial over the past years please let Mr. Fatuzzo know - you are eligible for a patch.
- 8 Scouts earned their Shooting Merit Badge last weekend.
- Outings
Boston Trip Correction to the Date It is May 20 May 22. We have 3 Adults and 13 Scouts signed up. WE NEED MORE ADULTS to drive and moderate OR the TRIP WILL BE CANCELLED.
Whitewater rafting Fathers Day Weekend 3 Adults and 10 Scouts signed up. More info to follow.
Yawgoog July 10 to July 17 - 9 Adults and 21 Scouts signed up. Medical forms will be handed out shortly and MUST BE RETURNED BY JUNE 16, 2011.
Hershey Park Scout weekend Aug 12 14 More info to follow.
- Other Activities
Car Wash May 7 - 8am to 3pm. At MGV. We have 3 Adults and 12 Scouts signed up. This is a troop fund-raiser and ALL Scouts are expected to work this event. We also need additional adults to moderate.
Flag Planting at Pinelawn Sat May 28 in section 2M meet there at 6am.
Memorial Day Parade Mon May 30. Meet at Tower Flowers at 9:30am.
Babylon Town Hall Craft Fair Saturday June 4 Need Boys and Adults for a possible First Aid station.
Strawberry Festival Sunday June 5 Frank Grenci and Scott Langdon are doing the First Aid station. Need boys to help man the station. See Frank and Scott for signups.
Need Adults for selling of Breakfast and Hot Dogs. See Bill Peters for signups.
Also need Adults for selling in the Yard Sale. See Antonella Langdon for signups.
Troop Court of Honor June 16 All Parents should attend this event- this is where your boys are formally recognized for their achievements.
Yawgoog Meeting June 23 Mr. Fatuzzos House - Mandatory for all going to Yawgoog.
Picnic SUNDAY August 7.
- Next Committee Meeting is June 7, 7:30 at Parliament Place School.
