The official shirt of the Boy Scouts of America is part of Troop 399's Class 'A' uniform.

The shirt must be worn with proper position patch, patrol patch, rank indication, updated numbers and loops, as well as other patches.

The shirt must be worn to all troop meetings, Camp-o-rees, Scoutmaster Conferences, Boards of Review, Courts of Honor, religious services and in other events upon the decision of the Scoutmaster.

The shirt can be purchased at the Scout Shop or online.

Long-sleeved version of official scout shirt may be worn in lieu of this shirt.

The shorts/pants must be worn with official scout belt or another belt after Scoutmaster approval.

The shirt must be worn to all troop functions, regardless of uniform specification as it is part of both uniforms.  For dress-down events (campouts/parties), the Scoutmaster may allow scouts to wear other shorts/pants in lieu of the scout shorts/pants

The shirt can be purchased at the Scout Shop or online.

The troop t-shirt is part of the Troop's Class 'B' uniform.

The shirt must be worn to all summer events, outdoor summer/spring fundraisers, camping trips, etc. at the request of the Scoutmaster.

The shirt is expected to be clean and rip-free at all times and must have the updated, black insignia on the left side.

All scouts are given one troop shirt upon entering. Additional shirts are $5.00 and can be purchased at troop meetings.

The hat is part of Troop 399's Class 'A' and 'B' uniforms.

The hat must be worn to all troop events.  Only under certain circumstances will the Scoutmaster decide that the troop hat is not mandatory for the uniform.

The hat is expected to be in good condition at all times.  If the hat is faded, ripped or outdated, Adult Leadership may request that a Scout purchase a new hat.

Only the current black hat is acceptable.  Scouts may use their hat to showcase SCOUTING-RELATED pins that they have accumulated.

All scouts are given one troop hat upon entering. Additional hats are $5.00 and can be purchased at troop meetings.

The neckerchief is part of Troop 399's Class 'A' uniform.

The neckerchief must be worn with the Class A shirt at all times.

The neckerchief must be worn with a proper slide.  The neckerchief MUST also be rolled.

All scouts are given one troop neckerchief upon entering. Additional neckerchiefs are $5.00 and can be purchased at troop meetings.

Eagle Scouts of Troop 399 are required to wear their Eagle Neckerchiefs in lieu of the troop one.

The troop fleece is part of neither the Class A or B uniforms.

The troop fleece, may be required to be worn at outdoor troop events.

The fleece must be ordered in advance - please speak to Mr. Fatuzzo regarding the purchasing of a troop fleece.

The troop polo is available to all adult leaders of Troop 399.

The polo may be worn in lieu of the troop shirt.

For Troop 399's 35th Anniversary Celebration, scouts and adults are required to wear the 35th Anniversary Commemorative Patch on their Class A uniforms.

When attending Yawgoog Scout Camp and the Annual Summer Camp Court of Honor, members of Troop 399 are required to wear their Yawgoog Segment wheel with all updated segments.
